Your role and responsibilities

ABB Motion Service is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. We service ABB frequency converters, motors, and generators globally, handling preventive maintenance, fault tracing, repairs, commissioning, upgrades, and retrofits. As a Project Manager, you will be the single point of contact for customers and field service engineers during service assignments and project deliveries. Project related travel may be required. Your responsibilities will include: • Planning services and preparing engineers for safe and timely fieldwork. • Providing documentation and recommendations to customer's post-service. • Managing customers with active service agreements, ensuring their needs are met promptly. • Delivering engineered solutions and upgrade projects, ensuring high-quality work and minimal downtime. • Engaging in both technical and administrative tasks with an experienced team.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree or Technical College diploma, accompanied by a relevant certificate of ap-prenticeship or work experience. Relevant experience may compensate for the absence of a bachelor's degree or technical college diploma.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English and Norwegian is required.
- Strong technical interest and understanding.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet short deadlines.
- Experience in field service or project management.
- Knowledge of ABB frequency converters will be considered an advantage.
