As an Inventory Control Assistant here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our inventory control processes. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing efficient inventory management strategies. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the smooth operation of our supply chain and help us meet customer demands with precision and efficiency.
You will report directly to our Inventory Control Manager and you'll work out of our Chandler, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact our operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and implementing best practices for inventory control. Your work will directly contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our supply chain.
U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the shipping and receipt of goods, including opening packages, verifying quantities, and confirming accurate item delivery
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Implement and maintain efficient inventory control processes and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure optimal stock levels
• Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

• 2+ years of experience in inventory control or related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
