Software Eng Assistant Manager

The position is for Software Eng Assistant Manager in CMADS, Aero EOPS at HTS India.

The responsibilities include -
  • Leading & driving Automation and digitalization strategy for Aerospace COEs.
  • Drives a team which designs and develops automation artifacts (scripts, functions, scenarios, processes) for simple to complex automated situations using various tools.
  • Leads development of automated solutions through computer programming in Python, MS Sharepoint, Tableau, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, SQL, Visual Basic, Java, ReactJS, Angular
  • Develops and reports various metrics to global leadership.
  • Actively engages with key customers, stakeholders and cross functional teams to achieve business objectives. Selects the best talent in the industry, build & nurtures talent and focuses on holistic people development. Sets employee goals and manages achievement. Provides guidance and direction to promote employee development.
  • A change agent and a practitioner of organizational initiatives. Responsible for grooming 'Technical Capabilities' in the team and retain the core and niche skills.
  • Anticipates industry trends. Contributes to enhancing Honeywell's sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Leads teams through application of profound or broad product /technical know-how within or across job areas, is cognizant of the latest technology trends in the business
  • Driving effective people practices through effective hiring strategy, rewarding, motivating & retention strategy and talent differentiation for high performance.
  • Driving, the talent management strategy
  • Collaborating with leaders and stakeholders to have the right people at right jobs
  • Build an atmosphere of open communication with all stakeholders to build and retain trust from within and outside product team.
  • Nurtures talent, and enables employees to develop their career through Coaching, promoting a flexible, adaptable and stay hungry culture.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Engineering Degree in / Computer/ IT / Electronics Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in software development \managing software life cycle activities
  • Candidate must have applicable experience and knowledge of the Agile software development processes and tools
  • Program Management experience for > 5 years
  • PMP certified is an added advantage
