We are seeking a highly skilled HSED Lead for a full-time contract role in the Oil and Gas sector, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met in design engineering studies.
Role Overview
- Lead and manage the HSED team, ensuring organization and quality of deliverables.
- Oversee HSED activities schedule and budget management.
- Conduct risk analysis and participate in HSED reviews (Hazid, Envid, HRA, Hazop, Sil, etc.).
- Review plot plans and 3D models to identify HSED requirements.
- Perform hazardous area classification and passive/active fire protection studies.
- Conduct personnel protection, escape, evacuation, and rescue studies.
- Manage interfaces with clients, partners, and various project disciplines.
- Prepare responses to company comments and engineering queries.
- Issue weekly reports to the contractor and attend relevant meetings.
- HSE Expertise: In-depth knowledge of HSE design disciplines.
- International Standards: Familiarity with NFPA standards, API practices, IP codes, EN, ISO.
- Technical Judgment: Strong skills in plant design optimization.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat).
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Leadership: Strong commitment to task planning, delegation, and problem-solving.
- Degree: Master of Science in Engineering, preferably in HSE Design or Process.
- Experience: Over 15 years in HSED engineering.
