We are partnering with our client, TotalEnergies to recruit a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join a major LNG Project team on a full-time contract basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing the budget, schedule, and risk for a major LNG project in Africa.

Role Overview

• Negotiate contract exhibits for cost, schedule, and milestone payments.
• Resolve schedule conflicts between multiple contractors.
• Develop and implement work processes, practices, and procedures for the Project Controls Team.
• Assess risk and establish risk management protocols and reports.
• Prepare monthly project status reports and provide analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the package document control team and activities.
• Review and monitor costs against budget and approved changes.
• Coordinate and review project budgets and updates.
• Track contingency and approved changes to project budget.
• Monitor and analyze project schedules and key dates.
• Participate in project digitalization to promote efficiencies and simplification.
• Promote a culture of safety, health, environment, and company ethics.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience with Total Energies, either directly or on key projects highly advantageous.
• Extensive experience in major oil and gas client, within project cost control management function.
• Strong knowledge of cost engineering principles and methods, including budgeting, forecasting, change management, and contingency management.
• Familiarity with schedule and planning principles and methods.
• Experience with budget and cost control tools such as SAP, U-Cost, Excel, and PowerBI.
• Proficiency in planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse, Microsoft Project, Milestones Pro, and Excel.
• Fluent in English with the ability to work with international teams and stakeholders. Portuguese language skills highly desired.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.
• Experience with Partner and Government reporting interfaces in major oil and gas projects.
