Service Consultant - SaaS Building Automation

We are currently seeking a Service Consultant to join our Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) team, based out of UK, to grow our Service business by selling new service contracts at UK territory across different vertical markets preferably in Healthcare, Education, Industrial, Manufacturing, Utilities sector. Reporting to the European Service Sales Leader (UK Sales Leader - matrix reporting) your primary focus will be to identify new service customers from new targeted end users, from newly installed projects or from non-contracted installed base. From there you will focus on building customer contacts and provide consultative selling support by understanding their needs (Energy saving, customer experience, regulations...) and building value propositions based on our Service Offering. You will finally build the service proposal based on SaaS models, go through contract negotiation, and win the contract order.
In this role you will be also the main expert and point of contact in UK for selling Building Performance Services offering which includes remote service delivered through the Honeywell Building Operations Centers and digitized maintenance through the Forge Platform and energy consultancy and improvement jobs.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Achieving annual orders quota target by closing new maintenance contracts while adhering to pricing and sales policies.
• Identifying, targeting, and qualifying new customer acquisition opportunities to continually increase the base of service customers.
• Work in a team environment with Project Managers, Field Service Professionals, Forge and Cyber consultants, other Sales Representatives and supporting functions (estimation, legal, supply, etc.)
• Work with Business Consultants to create Service Proposals embedded in new install opportunities.
• Promote Building Performance Services internally and externally with focus on FORGE predictive maintenance and Energy Efficiency.
• Develop customer relationships with exiting customers with a high potential but small share in existing service portfolio of Honeywell.
• Develop high-level customer relationships, understanding their operational issues; develop an opportunity strategy that will address those issues.
• Formulate a clear and appealing vision of what the customer/supplier relationship will be and a strategy for getting there, engaging HON leadership to actively support the management of customer executive levels when needed.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends and initiatives involving customer's competitors.
• Identify innovative and unique ways in which HBT can help customers bring more value to their customers.
• Ability to travel across UK (50% of time).

YOU MUST HAVE
- BA/BS degree in business or a technical related field of study from an accredited college or university
- Proven experience in service sales roles requiring consultative selling.
- Proven experience in selling software or energy efficiency solutions.
- Significant quota carrying sales experience and proven quota attainment at or above 100%.
- Speak fluently in English
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems, Fire, Security, and Energy Management.
- Building Automation / Smart Buildings industry market experience
