Fully remoteThe Field QA Technician plays a critical role in maintaining quality and safety standards in wind turbine blade repair operations. This position is responsible for on-site inspection, auditing, and verification of blade repair processes, ensuring all work meets internal standards, customer requirements, and OEM specifications. The role requires extensive travel to wind farms throughout the U.S. and possibly Canada.

- Perform quality inspections on composite blade repair
- Document and report quality findings using standardized software and forms
- Provide feedback and guidance to field technicians and team leads on repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and repair procedures
To be considered, you must meet the minimum requirements:
- Minimum of (5) years' experience in composite blade repair, ideally in wind turbine environments
- Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and industry best practices
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% for site visits
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR)
- Must be at least 21 years old to drive company vehicles
- A valid passport or ability to obtain one is preferred
- Must meet the physical demands of the role: climb ladders/turbines up to 300 feet multiple times daily, lift 75 lbs, and work in confined spaces
- Eligible to work in the U.S. or Canada (must be a citizen or hold valid work authorization)
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain a drug-free status
