At UOP, we have a current opening for a Project Management Specialist. The project specialist works in collaboration with the project manager and all functional groups within UOP, vendors and customer representatives to ensure that all project requirements are met as laid out in the contract. The project specialist will be accountable for overseeing project activities and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Your strong guiding skills, technical expertise, and ability to drive results will be essential in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

The project specialist will be accountable for overseeing project activities and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Your strong guiding skills, technical expertise, and ability to drive results will be essential in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support development of project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate free issue material deliveries
- Work cross functionally to resolve issues or discrepancies that arise throughout the project
- Participate in internal and customer meetings to provide adequate support for manufacturing and assembly inquiries, etc.
- Provide feedback to project management and engineering of new developments and concerns impacting schedule, cost & quality
- Ensure the incorporation of customer specifications
- Review and approve vendor invoices for payment as needed & manage vendor deliverables
- Ensure that all structure, piping, equipment, valves, and instrumentation are procured based on schedule and specification.
- Meet project schedule, budget and quality requirements as defined in performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, engineering, fabrication, or operations
- Strong guiding and team management skills
- Excellent communication and people-oriented skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Experience in petroleum refining, petrochemical and/or gas processing industries preferred
