Data Management Specialist I

Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of data management. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process day-to-day requests: vendor set-up, vendor update, reactivation and deactivation.
- Error resolution and customer support for internal stakeholders (Procurement and Finance functions).
- Fraud prevention through bank validation process.
- Data validation and overall maintenance of Vendor Master Data, adhering to data governance policies and ensuring high quality of data.
- Investigate and resolve queries, regarding vendor maintenance matters, either by Teams or email.
- Continuously assess data quality and propose improvement initiatives.
- Play an active role in defining Vendor Master Data standards, rules, and policies liaising with relevant business and technical teams.
EXPERIENCE
- Professional Degree in finance related area
- Minimum 1 year experience in Accounts Payable/Cash
- Disbursements/Accounting/Procurement/Master Data areas
- Work experience with SAP FI module; Service Now and Oracle are a plus
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word
KNOWLAGE AND SKILLS
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work with little supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and identify work priorities.
- Position requires a high degree of accuracy and speed in data matching, discretion, confidentiality.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people from different hierarchies, on various issues.
- Must have the ability to drive change and collaborate with others, including virtual, global teams to reach desired goals.
- Ability to identify and solve a variety of problems, to face situations where it is precise to act with great tact and diplomacy to surpass adverse attitudes.
- Overall knowledge of end-to-end P2P process.
