Data Management Specialist I

As a Data Management Specialist here at Honeywell, Bucharest, RO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of our data. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process day-to-day requests: vendor set-up, vendor update, reactivation and deactivation.
• Error resolution and customer support for internal stakeholders (Procurement and Finance functions).
• Fraud prevention through bank validation process.
• Data validation and overall maintenance of Vendor Master Data, adhering to data governance policies and ensuring high quality of data.
• Investigate and resolve queries, regarding vendor maintenance matters, either by Teams or email.
• Continuously assess data quality and propose improvement initiatives.
• Play an active role in defining Vendor Master Data standards, rules, and policies liaising with relevant business and technical teams.

EXPERIENCE

• Professional Degree in finance related area
• Minimum 1 year experience in Accounts Payable/Cash
• Disbursements/Accounting/Procurement/Master Data areas
• Work experience with SAP FI module; Service Now and Oracle are a plus
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word

KNOWLAGE AND SKILLS

• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work with little supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and identify work priorities.
• Position requires a high degree of accuracy and speed in data matching, discretion, confidentiality.
• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people from different hierarchies, on various issues.
• Must have the ability to drive change and collaborate with others, including virtual, global teams to reach desired goals.
• Ability to identify and solve a variety of problems, to face situations where it is precise to act with great tact and diplomacy to surpass adverse attitudes.
• Overall knowledge of end-to-end P2P process.
