This position reports to
Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division located in Santa Palomba. You will be mainly accountable for: • Defining quality requirements, quality gates and the process control plan for new launches. • Supporting product development in early stage to ensure products satisfy quality specifications after launch sales. • Defining quality procedures and being responsible for quality trainings. • Supporting the definition and implementation of actions to improve safety, operating efficiency, quality and productivity in the value chain, to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment within the local business. • Leading quality operation on a specific product family: continuous improvement both on process and product, coordinating quality activities in production focused on achieving business target within quality. • Be a reference for suppliers/customers during the process audits to ensure the compliance of working practice, procedures, and production surveillance. • Managing non-conformity issues: cooperating closely with other business functions and leading RCA according to DMAIC approach. • Be responsible to manage quality data and metrics according ABB standards.

Qualifications for the role
- You enjoy working with Commitment to deliver results by taking responsibility to execute assigned tasks and projects.
- You have at least 2/3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of Statistical Analysis and statistical software (i.e. Minitab). Knowledge of lean six sigma methodology will be considered a plus.
- You are passionate about Willingness to express your full potential bringing-in your value added, ideas and passion to continuously innovate daily job and solution.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering.
- You are at ease communicating in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
