Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the Contractor’s Systems Completion activities across the full COMP 3 scope, including offshore and onshore facilities, pipelines, risers, and modification works. The role acts as the primary focal point for the planning and execution of certification, acceptance, and handover activities across all fabrication yards and offshore locations. This position ensures project systems are commissioned, verified, and handed over safely, efficiently, and in line with project milestones and international standards.


Key Job Accountabilities

  1. Optimize Onshore Commissioning:
    Maximize the execution of onshore commissioning to reduce offshore commissioning duration and complexity.

  2. EPC Package Integration:
    Lead the development and management of systems completion and commissioning deliverables within EPC packages in coordination with the systems completion team.

  3. Process Development:
    Develop and maintain robust processes for Mechanical Completion, Systems Completion, Turnover, and Acceptance, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

  4. Leadership and Technical Oversight:
    Provide expert guidance to contractors, vendors, and engineering subcontractors to ensure high-quality, timely execution of deliverables per schedule and budget.

  5. Change & Risk Management:
    Steer systems engineering design under the project’s change management framework; create and manage recovery plans as needed to mitigate delays.

  6. Execution Management:
    Oversee execution of systems completion, including resource planning, tooling/software selection, progress monitoring, and standards compliance.

  7. Completion Philosophy Development:
    Guide the creation and implementation of the project’s systems completion philosophy in collaboration with OPCO and key stakeholders.

  8. EPC RFSU Integration:
    Accountable for integrating completions from various EPC packages to achieve final Facility Ready for Start-Up (RFSU).

  9. Interface & SIMOPS Coordination:
    Coordinate internal and external interfaces, managing potential risks from SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations) and ensuring cross-discipline alignment.

  10. Lessons Learned Program:
    Ensure historical and new Lessons Learned are effectively integrated within the contractor’s scope and continuously communicated to COMPANY.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering

  • Certifications: Offshore survival and medical certifications, if applicable


Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas project execution, commissioning, and operations.

    • Minimum 5 years in a Systems Completions Manager or equivalent leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for database management and execution.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Systemization and Systems Completion Certification processes

    • SME in Completions Management Systems, specifically Hexagon (preferred) and/or WinPCS

    • In-depth knowledge of Project Data Management, including integration with Smart Plant Foundation and other engineering data platforms

    • Proven track record in managing Vendor Data Certification and incorporating vendor data into Completions Databases
