Your Role - meaningful & rewarding
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient data models and data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using Python to ensure accurate and timely data flow.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and analysts, to ensure data is structured and available for analysis and reporting.
- Evaluating emerging data technologies to efficiently integrate state-of-the-art data solutions and analytical modules into operational cloud environments.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data engineering, AI, and technology trends to drive innovation.
Your Profile - authentic & open-minded
required:
- Strong experience with SQL and data modeling, particularly in data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Excellent Python programming skills, with experience in building and automating data pipelines.
- A solid understanding of data engineering best practices, including data quality, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in collaboration with other technical teams.
- Proficient in German (both written and spoken) to effectively collaborate with German-speaking teams

- Experience with Snowflake or Databricks for data storage, processing, and analytics in the cloud.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building and automating data workflows in Azure.
- Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) for transforming and modeling data.
- Experience with Apache Airflow or other orchestration tools for scheduling and managing complex data workflows.
- Experience with version control using Git for managing and collaborating on code changes.
- A first experience or interest in growing within the field of Data Science.
