Are you ready to lead a team that drives excellence in due diligence?
We are looking for a passionate and experienced General Counsel of Due Diligence to join our Compliance Center of Excellence. This successful candidate should be able to lead a team that manages a real time, persistent due diligence program that leverages world class technology provided by Certa to deliver best-in-class diligence results to a broad array of Honeywell stakeholders in numerous substantive areas including anti-corruption, trade and ESG among others. The successful candidate will also lead the management of the TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) platform, including overseeing any design changes, risk rubric changes and when necessary, solving any technical challenges. The successful candidate will also manage Honeywell's SAP GTS platform and ensure proper development of SAP GTS for trade solutions. The successful candidate will be a member of the Compliance Center of Excellence reporting to the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a global team to deliver high-quality, timely diligence assessments.
- Implement and manage digital solutions to enhance diligence operations.
- Design and implement risk reduction strategies for high-risk diligence outcomes.
- Resolve compliance and ESG issues through consensus.
- Measure and improve the effectiveness of the TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) program.
- Manage supplier relationships for the TPRM program.
- Continuously improve diligence processes.
- Stay updated on compliance developments and adapt diligence approaches.
- Coordinate across Honeywell businesses and legal functions.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
Must Have:
- Law Degree (JD) with 10+ years of legal experience, ideally gained through a combination of law firm and in-house experience at a global public company.
- Licensed to practice law in at least one state within the U.S.
- Verifiable knowledge of compliance areas noted above.
- Experience leading a team of legal professionals
- Experience in third party risk management
