As an ApplicationEngineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading andmanaging a team of application engineers to deliver high-quality solutions toour customers. You will report directly to our Regional Business Director, and you will workout of our Houston, Texas location on a hybrid work schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of application engineers to deliver high-quality solutions to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement application engineering strategies.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage project, executions, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application engineering processes and capabilities.
- Lead and/or support various productivity initiatives in support of revenue and margin growth in the Advanced Solutions
- Blending and Movements Management business, including the use of and support for low-cost engineering centers and contingent subcontract labor, without dilution of quality.
- Active participation on Blending and Movements Management global business team. Provide sales, proposal and estimating support in support of the Advanced Solutions Blending and Movements Management business
- Actively participate and support our global knowledge sharing via Honeywell community of practices to seed innovation, ensure technical excellence and better practices and to facilitate Advanced Solutions becoming the go-to business for clients and employees
- Actively engage employees to deliver sustainable growth paths, optimize workforce demographics, meet target bill ability metrics and reward superior performance
- Embrace continuous improvement setting challenging goals and objectives, and manage change in a way that achieves buy in and meets business requirements
- Share and coordinate skills with peers and other internal resources to serve customers better and improve productivity
- Participate andsupport Advanced Solutions Quality system. Employ quality processes toidentify and meet customer requirements for superior service. Customersatisfaction is a fundamental source of our sustainable competitive advantage
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accreditedinstitution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering,mathematics
- Minimum of 9 years in application engineering
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
