As a Senior Controllership Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will hold a critical leadership position within our finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and lead the controllership function for a specific country or region. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and driving the financial close processes at the country level. Your expertise in financial analysis and insights will be instrumental in providing valuable recommendations and guidance to senior management for strategic decision-making. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures specific to the country or region, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and best practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including local finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations. Your strong leadership skills will be crucial in managing and developing a team of controllership professionals, providing mentorship and support for their professional growth. As the Senior Controllership Supervisor, you will serve as a key point of contact for local finance matters, representing the country or region in discussions with senior management and other stakeholders. You will report directly to our Finance Director and you will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the financial performance and compliance of the country or region, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, driving process improvements, and providing valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles
- Must be US Citizen
- Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations
- Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices
- Hands-on experience with SAP/Systems, knowledge of SAP and HFM, US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, and R2R concepts, processes, and best practices.
