As a Machinist Level 2 or 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You will work with precision tools and equipment to ensure that all products meet the required specifications. Your expertise in machining processes will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ facility. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing processes, ensuring that all parts are produced accurately and on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up and operate various machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet the required specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and tools to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize production processes and meet customer demands.
FAA Requirements
All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-attuned positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-attuned positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

YOU MUST HAVE:
- Experience in machining, specifically aligning to Mills, Lathes and Grinders
- Proficiency in geometric dimension and technology
- Experience of reading blueprints, drawings, tools and gauges
WE VALUE:
- Technical diploma or certification in machining or a related field
- Experience with CNC machining
- Knowledge of programming and operating CNC machines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
