We are currently seeking a Senior Advanced Application Engineer to join our team in our Cannon Hill, QLD office.
This is a key role for the successful delivery of Advanced Solutions application Projects and support services to our clients in the Pacific region.

We are currently seeking a Senior Advanced Application Engineer to join our team in our Cannon Hill, QLD office.
This is a key role for the successful delivery of Advanced Solutions application Projects and support services to our clients in the Pacific region.
Key responsibilities:
- Be a team player and able to work in an integrated engineering team embedded with clients
- Able to determine and communicate the value proposition, undertake feasibility studies, and support business case development
- Works in close collaboration with Project Managers to achieve project delivery success
- Collaboration with Operations Leader for the successful delivery of Projects within the portfolio group
- Participate in analyzing client requirements, specifying, designing, developing, testing, documenting, installing, and commissioning advanced control applications using Profit Controller/Optimizer, UniSim, DCS algorithms, and custom programs
- Lead projects, including taking responsibility for technical deliverables and site implementation
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role
- 15+ years of experience in Advance Process control
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering/ Technology discipline
- Process domain experience in LNG, MMM, Petrochem will be highly regarded
- Experience in Profit Controller/Optimizer, DMCPlus and EXASMOC (either one of these)
- Specific experience in Honeywell's Forge Advanced Process Control, CPM and Simulation packages is highly desirable
- Experience in interfacing and working with different DCS systems
- Industry experience in Minerals/ Petrochemical/ Gas Processing refinery - mandatory
- Must have good communications skills
