Overview
A leading international infrastructure player is seeking a skilled Corporate and Institutional Relations Manager to spearhead strategic engagement with government agencies, industry bodies, and financial institutions. This is a key leadership role in managing regulatory affairs, public-private partnerships, and stakeholder alignment across large-scale concession-based infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will play a critical part in enhancing external visibility, strengthening institutional partnerships, and ensuring regulatory alignment to support long-term business success in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead institutional relations strategies with public and private sector entities
- Build relationships with regulators, policymakers, financial institutions, and development banks
- Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and government forums
- Track and influence regulatory and policy developments relevant to concession operations
- Coordinate internal departments to ensure compliance with concession agreements and laws
- Manage corporate communications, advocacy papers, and reports for external stakeholders
- Drive CSR initiatives that align with sustainability and community engagement goals
- Facilitate negotiations with institutional partners for strategic partnerships and collaborations
- Monitor political, economic, and regulatory trends and provide risk-based insights to leadership
- Advise executives on external affairs strategies and risk mitigation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Public Relations, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years in a supervisory stakeholder management role
- Background in public policy, regulatory compliance, or institutional affairs is essential
- Experience engaging with public-private partnerships or government-backed initiatives
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of regional business environment; GCC experience is an advantage
- ERP experience preferred, ideally with SAP
