Team Lead, Technical Sales Support
Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a new Team Leader for our Technical Support Team to join us in Helsinki. You will lead a team of experts supporting Sales Units with cost-effective technical solutions. In this position, you will oversee daily technical sales support tasks within the Large Motors and Generators Division, enabling our Local Sales Units to concentrate on business expansion and enhance customer satisfaction. Our 15-person technical team gives the last word on our technical solutions globally, supporting ABB Production Units, Sales Offices and After Sales. We offer a hybrid work model, but the role requires presence in Pitäjänmäki office approximately 50 % of working time. You will be mainly accountable for: • Managing daily activities of Technical Sales Support and ensuring timely, accurate and high-quality responses and solutions • Leading your team and our support process to meet the defined Sales Support KPI's • Enhancing the skill development opportunities for your team • Facilitating continuous improvement in Sales Support, improving our tools, processes, product portfolio, and customer experience • Developing the support processes, tools and reports together with the Technical Sales Support Manager

Qualifications for the role
- Several years of experience in operations, sales, R&D, engineering, or similar working environment
- Knowledge of Large Motors and Generators' products
- Managerial experience is an advantage
- Comfortable managing high-pressure situations and making quick decisions
- Solution-oriented mindset, attention to detail
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree, preferably in Engineering
- Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English. Finnish is seen as advantage
