This position reports to
Service Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will be developing and managing Marine & Ports' Service Line Marine Propulsion Service Sales strategy, best practices and solutions. You will enforce the sales performance specifying and implementing effective sales processes and business-development initiatives in line with global strategy. The work model for the role is hybrid: #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Creating, planning and implementing global sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives for the Azipod® Service Sales. • Defining key sales targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance. • Identifying and evaluating opportunities with existing and potential customer segments on a global basis. • Diligently develop and coach local sales organizations to reach sales milestones steadily. • Working together with new build Sales team and Product management in area of product life cycle management. • Cooperating and maintaining effective relationship with service sales of Business Line Marine Service and Digital. • Managing the sales of Service Agreements in partnership with local service sales personnel. • Identifying new business opportunities and creating clear strategies to convert them into business opportunities. • Coordinating the information flow around sales activities and providing forecasts and market intelligence to marketing and sales. • Conducting contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks.

Qualifications for the role
- You have 10 years of experience in sales and sales management preferably within Maritime industry.
- Experience of business development and account management.
- A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms.
- Adept communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, solution-oriented mindset.
- A Master or bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical engineering.
