What You Can Expect

As the Project Development Advisor, you will lead the development activities for all ENGIE distributed solar and storage projects, guiding them from site control to Notice to Proceed (NTP) for greenfield sites, origination projects, and M&A initiatives throughout the United States. Key responsibilities include land acquisition, permitting, environmental reviews, and other facets of solar energy and storage project development to help achieve the company's renewable energy goals and growth strategy in North America.

Every day you will direct and manage both internal and external subject matter experts to ensure the successful completion of land acquisition, environmental assessments, local/state/federal permitting, interconnection, real estate, and design activities.

  • Facilitate strategic meetings with customers, landowners, and local/state/regional stakeholders to keep them informed throughout the development process
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on project updates and solar market policies to customers, landowners, potential off-takers, government officials, and corporate supporters
  • Help create new tools and trackers to monitor development progress and manage data effectively


What You'll Bring
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in business administration, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Engineering, or related fields
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of project development experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Projects, Word, PowerPoint; Salesforce


Additional Details
  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically 25% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies


Compensation

Salary Range: $113,900 - $174,570 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
