We are seeking a dynamic, hardworking engineer to join our process automation team for development of software engineering tools and estimation tools. Candidate should have a passion for logic design and a strong sense of creativity, as these attributes are important for tapping the automation needs and recommending what can be achieved through products & services driven solutions.
We are looking for an experienced software developer with process automation background who will be collaborating with functional teams (process automation engineers) to understand their challenges and responsible for proposing and implementing software solutions to resolve those challenges.
This will be a dedicated independent role so individual should be capable of coming up with solutions without much guidance on software solutioning.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Developing software tools using various platforms, web applications, and Implement security and data protection measures.
- Own developed software code and collaborate with functional teams to enhance it with upcoming requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain multiple applications using Python, Django, .Net, SQL Server Database
- Read, understand and develop XML schema, Basic understanding of XSLTs
- Responsible for maintenance and providing service support for developed tools/products
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Develop and implement complex database queries and design efficient data structures.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Write clear, concise documentation for software components.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering (Computer/Instrumentation/E&TC) or Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Computer Science or a related field
- Experience: 4 to 8 years of full stack development with a strong focus on Python, Django along with maintaining .Net based windows as well as web applications
- Prefer an individual with background of process automation who has worked on distributed control system earlier for better understanding of functional requirements
- Database Skills: Excellent skills in database management and optimization (SQL Server, Postgres SQL etc).
- Front-End Skills: Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript etc.
- Version Control: Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- APIs: Experience with integrating third-party APIs.
- Testing: Proficient in writing and maintaining unit tests.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge about Angular, Material UI is an added advantage
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Can do attitude is must. Ready to learn new technologies and implement new solutions
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the applications remain modern and effective.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
