As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for development of software applications, testing the same, creation of automated test scripts if required, test documentation, along with analysis documentation. Software application mainly are the tools for Flow Controls Valve Condition Monitoring service and Fisher FIELDVUE instrument products and technologies. The successful candidate will also help design User Interface applications based on Human Centered Design concepts and work with FIELDVUE instrument products connected to Industrial Control Systems via HART/Fieldbus communications protocols.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Develop & test software in accordance with Flow Controls engineering, software development processes, and cybersecurity standards using manual test techniques and developing automated test software and script.
• Review product documentation including manuals and brochures for technical accuracy
• Perform technical support activities as assigned
• Maintaining Systems and Software Integration Lab
• Assist with other project activities as assigned by management

• Hands on experience with programming languages (e.g. C#)
• Hands on experience with front-end languages (e.g. WPF using MVVM framework)
• Hands on software test skills (manual and automated)
• Solid understanding of version control (e.g. Microsoft Team Foundation Server
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize work and assess risk
• The ability to supply in a team environment
