Performs a variety of tasks related to Cash Application Process. This role will need to have the ability to manage transactional activities and inquiries in payments received from customer, post payments reconciliation and build monthly reports for our stakeholders and management. The analyst will contribute to the smooth financial operation of our organization and play a vital role in its overall success.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Uses multiple systems for tracking, information gathering, researching and entering documentation of communication with customer.

Perform timely and accurate application of daily receipts and reconcile cash balance to general ledger account daily.

Process and reconcile account receivable and remittances.

Resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.

Perform periodic audits (internal or external).

Engage in collection management processes as vital.

Follow up on unapplied and unidentified payments.

Answers inquiries and resolves routine issues within in the credit to cash process.

Assist in the month-end close process.

Manage the cash application function with the goal of applying and posting all cash each month.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cash flow process.

Document processes and ensure documentation is kept up to date.

Assist in the development and implementation of cash application processes.

Execute Cash Reporting (Weekly, Monthly) as needed.

Who You Are:
You understand the meaning and implications of key financial indicators. You gain insight into customer needs. You build teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Degree preferred in Accounting, Business Management or Finance.
• Good written and oral English communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (MS Word and Excel).
• Advance knowledge of Oracle preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• 2 years in Cash Application for LAM (Mexico is a plus)
• Prior experience in accounts receivable and cash application
• Experience in transitions and stabilization process
• Ability to multitask and manage time amid multiple deadlines
