This position reports to
Head of Sales Traction
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key commercial and technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to Traction Division in Mannheim. You will be mainly accountable for: • Actively support Frontend Sales (including telephone customer contact) and serve as the point of contact for our service contract customers • Create service offers for spare parts, upgrades, and retrofits/obsolescences • Manage modernization projects (retrofits) • Participate in contract negotiations (service contracts, framework agreements) • Collaborate closely with relevant departments such as Repair Center, Logistics, Warehouse, Shipping, Sales, and Project Management • Ensure the resolution of customer inquiries and provide support in case of necessary escala-tions • Foster positive customer experiences, keep customers informed, and address uncertainties • Work with and utilize Salesforce as a sales tool

Qualifications for the role
- Technical or commercial education, ideally with professional experience or a technical degree
- Knowledge in the (customer) service area, ideally supplemented by practical experience, is advantageous
- Proficiency in using SAP is beneficial
- An agile and proactive approach, with a proven ability to take responsibility for customer issues
- Technical understanding is desirable, preferably in the field of drive technology
- A team-oriented, solution-driven work style
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
