Are you a skilled professional in Horizontal Direct Drilling (HDD) looking for a new project? Starting May we are seeking an HDD Mud Man to work on an exciting project in Poland until end of the summer!

Function description

As the HDD Mud Man, you will be responsible for the mixing, maintenance, and management of drilling fluids on site. This project involves drilling for a cable windmill farm, from the land into the sea. Your main tasks here will be:

• Mixing and maintaining drilling fluids to match project specifications
• Monitoring mud properties (viscosity, pH, flow rate, etc.)
• Ensuring proper operation of mud cleaning systems (shakers, desanders, etc.)
• Maintaining mud pumps, mixers, and storage tanks
• Recording and reporting daily mud usage and parameters
• Supporting the site team with general equipment handling and logistics
• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with HSE standards

Requirements

For this job, you need to have:

• Right to work in the European Union (mandatory),
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2) (mandatory),
• Relevant experience in a similar role within the construction or tunnelling sector,
• Knowledge of HDD drilling techniques and equipment,
• Experience working with bentonite mud.
