Asa Material Handler Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role inthe efficient movement and storage of materials within our organization. Youwill be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as wellas maintaining accurate inventory records. Your attention to detail and abilityto follow established procedures will contribute to the smooth operation of oursupply chain.
You will report directly to our Materials Manager and you'll work out of our ElPaso, TX location on a full-time, on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our operationsby ensuring the timely availability of materials for production and minimizinginventory discrepancies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receive, inspect, and verify incomingmaterials against purchase orders or invoices
• Store materials in designatedlocations, ensuring proper organization and inventory accuracy
• Pick, pack, and stage materials forproduction or shipment
• Perform cycle counts and physicalinventories to maintain accurate inventory records
• Operate material handling equipment,such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move materials within the facility
• Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to resolve any material-related issues or discrepancies
