Lead project contracting activities in issuing ITT, executing tendering roadmap, and soliciting tender committees and key stakeholders’ alignment and endorsement.
Develop bid evaluation plans, procedures, and models for evaluating technical bids and commercial bids.
Execute contract administration activities including provision of timely contractual guidance, tracking project milestones and stewarding contractors’ obligations.
Coordinate with Contractor to ensure that terms of the contract are fulfilled in compliance with the contract terms and regulations and highlight breach of contracts in a timely manner.
Manage the global contractual daily requirements and reporting of claim and variation progress. Assess contract agreements to identify and recommend amendments to existing contracts.
Support Project Management team in handling major change orders and claims and negotiations with contractors.
Coordinate on legal issues with the Legal department under the direction of the Business Division Manager.
Support development of multiple cost/schedules driven contracting scenarios for feeding into effective contracts’ management.
Establish procedures of transferring contracts to Operations after demobilizing Project team.
Support Project Management System requirements (Gates system review) and handle project contract’s audit activities.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, law, or business.
10 years of experience in contracting related to contracts out of which 5 years in leading role.
Excellent written and oral English skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software programs.
Ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of culture backgrounds.
