Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will support the manufacturing operations to meet business performance targets. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and develop a culture of operational excellence, manufacturing our products to the required quality standard and due date, whilst achieving the objectives and financial performance. You will focus on achieving manufacturing capacity and efficiency, reducing cycle times, and ensuring On-time delivery following safety and quality standards. Crucial to this role will be your ability to drive continuous improvement processes within a manufacturing/engineering environment, achieving KPIs as well as providing accurate and realistic reports to key stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:

• Adhere and set example to safety and quality regulations of the company.
• Accomplish production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting the results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• To manage time of employees' workload and break times with efficiency to achieve output and reduce idle time.
• Be able to design and implement a schedule for use in Production Planning & Management
• Monitor load versus capacity for each work center.
• Understand and comprehend resources and materials planning.
• Conduct RCAs when required, put corrective and preventive actions for reworks and scraps.
• Align preventative maintenance of machines with minimum disturbance to execution.
• To plan manpower (attendance, shift, vacations) and resources (work centers, machines) based on production plans.
• Manage output for day and night shifts.
• Communicate and enforce shift performance expectations to ensure HSE compliance and quality system requirements are met.
• Work with management and team leaders of each manufacturing process to improve safety culture, minimize defects, and elevate efficiency.
• Report deviations from plan, machine break downs, quality defects to the Manufacturing Manager.
• Monitor shop consumables usage and replenishments to execute production plans.
• Lead incident investigations related to the shop.
• Identify training needs arising from appraisal, risk assessment and accident/incident investigation.
• Manage and approve timecards in Time Management system for direct reports.
• Monitor Job Order Variances on work orders.
• High customer focus and respect for lead time and delivery deadlines
• Achieve targeted revenue and profitability, measured against forecast plan, by ensuring assigned reports understand and work towards these targets.
• Achieve targeted man hours and delivery performance, measured against estimates, and agreed customer delivery requirements by ensuring assigned reports understand and work towards these targets.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Impeccable problem-solving skill

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

• Diploma/ bachelor's degree in related field
• Proven Experience in supervising manufacturing processes of CNC machining, Welding and assembly and test of API6A products.
• 3 - 5 Years' experience in oil and gas manufacturing
• Time Management, Microsoft Office, Manpower Capacity Planning
