JOB DESCRIPTION

This Project Manager position is located in Giddings, TX.

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and parameters.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews project and prepares packages for engineering department.
  • Primary contact for customers. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers.
  • Effectively communicate project/order status and all information to/from customer, with Engineering/Drafting, Production and Shipping, particularly on drawing submittals, production and shipping schedules
  • Send and track drawing submittals to customers.
  • Coordinates specification or schedule changes between the customer, Engineering, and Production
  • Work with Sales and Estimating on any change that affects pricing. Ensure timely communication of such pricing change to customer.
  • Coordinate with Engineering/Production to resolve field issues or repairs..
  • Reviews project requirements, specifications, deliverables, and contract obligations to ensure these are in accordance with proposal/quotation accepted by the customer.
  • Work with Engineering Department to compile submittal and fabrication drawing packages.
  • Coordinates schedules for third party QC inspections and shipping.
  • Provides weekly project/order status reports to Operations Management.
  • Other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualified candidates for this role typically have a four-year degree or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience.
  • Three to five years relevant project management experience desired


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Work may require evening and weekend work.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
