Job Overview

We're seeking a reliable Utility Technician to join our team to perform operation, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on utility equipment. This role plays a vital role in maintaining the functionality and reliability of the utility system of our manufacturing facilities. This is a full-time on-site position located in Sidney, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate, maintain and debug utility systems and equipment.

Perform routine maintenance checks and record findings.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Respond to emergency calls and perform necessary repairs.

Assist in the installation of new utility systems and equipment.

Perform regular cleaning of equipment as required.

Collaborate with other departments to diagnose and resolve issues.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Boiler operation certificate is required.

Prior experience in utility maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, or a related area is advantageous.

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in utility maintenance.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
