Digital Solution Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities:

We are looking for software professionals to join our Industrial Automation Digital Organization. The role requires to be part of a team with experience on DevOps environment with focus on software lifecycle automation, Build and Release management and CI/CD. Posi-tion will primarily focus on engineering modern and agile environments, using various DevOps & Automation Tools to help with Application Lifecycle Management

• Knowledge of Recent Standard Development Platforms for Web Application Devel-opment. Extensive experience on establishing a suitable DevOps channel across the plat-forms

• Experience on setting up a continuous build environment to speed up software de-velopment and deployment process

• Participate in Requirement Gatherings as required

• Participate in design discussions, Documentation and reviews with ABB team as needed • Work closely with ABB project manager for deliverables and milestones identifica-tion and tracking.

• Report to technical lead/manager on daily activities planned, expected deliverables and reports as defined for the project

Primary Skills : C# Fundamentals & Advance features/ Coding guidelines, .Net Standard & Framework Secondary Skills: Angular 5-8, Material Framwork & HTML5 Additional: .NetCore, C#, WebAPI & Entity Framework Core (Databases), Azure de-ployment, Service fabric & Kubernetes

Qualifications for the role

• Should have experience in developing solutions and successfully taking on complex technical problems and higher responsibilities. Should demonstrate innovation in processes followed and/or solutions delivered and encouraged it within the team.

• Successfully deliver solutions and in complex customer system landscapes. Adhere to processes, defined software development methodologies and best practices within the team.

• Deliver in predictable timelines and with predictable quality Development

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, and familiarity with other cloud platforms and concept.

Experience on setting up a continuous build environment to speed up software devel-opment and deployment process.

• Good experience on application containerization concepts and tooling (e.g. Dock-er/Docker Swarm, Kubernetes). Good knowledge of various virtualization, Language, Database & Test technologies
