Productivity Solutions & Services Demand GenerationSpecialist
Job Location: Japan(Tokyo but remote location in Japan acceptable)
Report to: Business Director, ProductivitySolutions & Services, Honeywell Japan Ltd.
Honeywell ProductivitySolutions & Services (PSS) is one of six business units in IndustrialAutomation (IA), one of the four Strategic Business Groups (SBG) within Honeywell,each of which is managed as an independent company. The six business units in IA focus on improvingworking productivity for a variety of industries. IA has a wide range ofsolutions from large plant management software to enterprise grade data capturesolutions (barcode readers, mobile computers, printers, voice recognition)where we are among top 2 players.
IA Japan, part of theHoneywell APAC region, has been growing over the past decade and has astrategic plan to grow 2x in the next 3 years as the demand for productivity enablerscontinues to increase. PSS is well positioned with technology and services tomatch the growth targets of the overall IA Business Unit.
The Demand GenerationSpecialist position will strengthen Honeywell's external messaging, brandrecognition in Japan and collaboration with partners to support the revenuegrowth targets.
Position Summary:
This positionwill be responsible for driving PSS Japan demand generation activities in cooperation withour partners (distributors and resellers). The Demand Generation Specialist willdevelop activities within the constraints of the marketing budget incooperation with the APAC Marketing Team and the PSS Japan Team.
Job Responsibilities:
-Design and execute demand generation activity plans to increase (1) leads which can be transferred to the Enterprise Sales team or Channel Sales Team, (2) brand awareness, (3) product recognition and (4) revenue.
Serve as the interface with external agencies (digital marketing and telemarketing) to execute demand generation activities
-Localize promotional content for Japan that was developed by Honeywell's global marketing team, leveraging securing support from PSS Japan colleagues and external agencies to deploy it.
-Work with partners (distributors and resellers) to develop their demand generation activities and key messaging on solutions to increase the partners' revenue of PSS products.
-Proactively participate in APAC/Global demand generation meetings, sharing best practice from Japan with the team and bringing best practices from other regions to Japan; leverage the best practices to increase brand and product awareness and increase revenue.
-Share activity plan progress with and provide activity progress updates to the PSS Japan team during weekly team meetings.
-Manage the PSS Japan Marketing Budget; work with the APAC Marketing team to get approval for each marketing activity.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience in developing and executing demand generation and marketing plans for B2B solutions (prefer at least 3yrs of experience in a similar role)
-Experience managing projects and organizing events
-Native Japanese for interaction with Honeywell Japan colleagues and partners; good oral and written communication skills in English for interaction with globally-based Honeywell colleagues
-Highly motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, team player
-Organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
