Your role and responsibilities
The Energy Industries Division of ABB is seeking a passionate and creative Internal Communications Specialist to focus on HR projects and specific internal communications initiatives. This role is ideal for a junior professional who is just starting their career and eager to make a meaningful impact. Planning: • Developing a comprehensive HR communication plan in cooperation with division Internal Communications lead Content Creation: • Assist in developing and distributing engaging content for internal communications channels, including newsletters, intranet, and social media. • Creation of organizational announcements, end to end. • Collaborate with HR to create communications that support employee engagement and HR initiatives. • Implement the employee value proposition (EVP) by creating visuals in collaboration with Int. Communications Mgr. • Drive video production end to end • Creating posts for social media in cooperation with division Int. Communications Mgr. Project Management: • Project management of Attract pillar and EVP implementation plan • Support specific internal communications projects, ensuring timely and effective execution. • Work closely with various departments to gather information and create cohesive communication plans. Collaboration: • Work with senior communications team members to ensure alignment with overall communication strategies. • Coordinate with regional teams to tailor communications to local needs while maintaining consistency. • Close collaboration with the HR community for input and data collection • Active participation in Attract pillar meetings and all HR calls Learning and Development: • Participate in training and development programs to enhance communication skills and knowledge. • Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in internal communications.

Qualifications for the role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
- Basic understanding of digital communication tools and platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
