Your role and responsibilities
Do you have a technical background and experience with software and PLC programming? Are you looking to work on exciting projects that create significant value and support the green transition? If you also enjoy variety in your workday and thrive in a collaborative environment with helpful, skilled colleagues - then this job may be tailor-made for you. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for specifying, programming, documenting, testing, and commissioning solutions within traditional process automation. You'll be involved in all phases of the projects - from brainstorming and concept development to final installation and configuration. Our projects focus on automation solutions for the Danish utility sector, and you will be part of our District Heating team. You'll primarily be based at our office in Middelfart, where flexibility is an integral part of daily life. However, during certain project phases - such as commissioning - you'll work on-site with our customers, approximately 30 days per year. Your responsibilities: • Develop, document, and test controller software • Understand the interface between IT, OT, and automation (PLC) • Conduct testing and debugging • Contribute to idea generation and concept development • Ensure timely project deliveries

Qualifications for the role
- Degree in Marine Engineering or a similar technical field with relevant IT/OT competencies
- Experience with several of the following methods and technologies:
- - Advant Controller Programming: AC400, AC500, AC800
- - Symphony Plus Melody Controller programming and understanding of DCS structures, OT, and fieldbus systems
- - AC400 Tight, PLC-Connect, 800M Tight, Function Designer, Profibus, Modbus, AF100
- - Documentation for IAT/FAT processes
- - Knowledge of the FVI library
