Digital Solution Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, We are looking for Digital Solution Engineers with Industry Domain Expertise to conceptualize, define and build Industry Specific Digital Solutions in our Process Automation Digital Organization. The candidate will be required to identify, document, create boundary condition definitions and articulate the business value proposition for such solutions. Collaborate effectively with different business units within the organization to collate the knowledge and customer expectations for evaluation and consideration for solution development. Conceptualize digital solutions and develop working prototypes and proof of concepts for evaluation and customer demonstration. Develop scenarios for application of Machine Learning / AI with the cross-functional data and developing base algorithm for different scenarios. Working with the customer teams for developing consultative focused solutions. Implement solutions that are part of our digital offering in various customer opportunities.

This role is contributing to Process Automation business for Digital Value Engineering division based in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Conceptualize designs for value engineering scenarios to incorporate in digital transformation solutions in predominantly Pulp & paper area
• Work closely with Customers and Business Units to architect and develop customer centric solutions tailored to their requirements
• Agile development of digital solution & 'Proof of Concepts' to effectively articulate the Customer Value Proposition
• Provide industry specific domain insights for rich proposal responses by articulating customer value proposition
• Work with technical product management, UX and other development team to define the specification, get it developed and ensure the functionality is achieved.

Qualifications for the role

• Education :- B. Tech/M. Tech- Chemical from good institutes with excellent percentile
• Min 7+ years of experience in plant operations and maintenance in Pulp & Paper Process.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Pulp mill and paper making processes. Exposure to process trouble shooting, production planning etc is expected.
• Proficiency in equipment/ area handling of Pulp mill, Paper machines, Chemical injection system, Recovery section (Evaporator, Boiler etc).
• Familiarity with Management Information Systems (MIS) and other reporting tools. Experience in Projects, shutdown activities etc. is preferred.

Additional Skills:

• Previous experience with software applications and functional solution testing for Pulp & paper solution is advantageous.
