Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate, install, and maintain process piping systems including stainless steel, copper, and plastic piping.
  • Perform orbital welding with precision in compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Conduct butt fusion of plastic piping systems according to approved procedures.
  • Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Ensure all piping installations are clean, precise, and compliant with cGMP requirements.
  • Conduct system pressure testing and validation activities.
  • Maintain safe working conditions following all OSHA, site-specific, and cGMP safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and QA/QC staff to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including weld logs and as-built drawings.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Orbital welding of stainless steel tubing.
    • Butt fusion of HDPE and other plastic piping materials.
    • Working in regulated cleanroom or cGMP environments.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process schematics.
  • Commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and precision.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.

Preferred Attributes:
  • Certification in orbital welding (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, food, or chemical manufacturing facilities.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Professional communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
