Minimum Job Requirement:

• Good ethical judgement: strong sense of ethics and integrity handling sensitive legal and compliance matters.
• Bachelor's Degree in Law.
• Legal knowledge in Labor & Employment (L&E) laws, contract law and corporate law.
• Strong advance English level (written and verbal), including technical legal English. Must be able to maintain day to day conversations in English on any topic, must have fluency, rhythm and sufficient self confidence in the language to handle meetings and conversations.
• Four years of job experience in a global company in a labor & employment and/or compliance position.
• Cultural sensitivity: awareness and respect for the company's cultural norms and practices, including communication styles, decision-making processes and workplace etiquette.
• Team collaboration: ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, HR, sourcing and operations.
• Client interaction: professional demeanor when interacting with clients, regulators and other external parties.
• Proven key skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, risk assessment and issue resolution.
• Demonstrated ability and excellent results in a legal position providing legal professional advise and guidance to protect the enterprise while enabling the business to reach its objectives and mitigating risks.

Major Duties:

• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance on L&E matters.
• Drafting, review and negotiation of different contracts.
• Conduct legal research, develop and develop action plans and/or participate on the strategy to anticipate and respond to risks or impacts to the business.
• Prepare, coordinate and support legal documentation to comply with alimony requirements.
• Prepare, conduct and monitor effectiveness of compliance and legal trainings.
• Create, manage and update different databases and document binder control.
• Lead or co-lead the implementation of awareness initiatives during all phases; creation, review, deployment and measure effectiveness. Such as creation of visual aides, awareness campaign, videos, notices, training, etc.
• Preparation, review and guidance on the application of written warnings, disciplinary measures and any legal documents required.
• Monitor and communicate metrics and data management.
• Document standard work, policies and work instructions for legal and compliance.
• Collaborate, support and work together with cross-functional teams, such as HR, engineering, finance, infrastructure, sourcing and operations, among others.
