Software Engineer I - Job Description

As a Software Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications for our Building Management Systems (BMS) business. You will work on designing, coding, testing, and debugging software solutions to meet customer requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology in the field of building automation.

You will report directly to our Sr. Software Eng Supervisor and you'll work out of our Hadapsar, Pune location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development and enhancement of our BMS software solutions, ensuring high-quality and reliable performance. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand customer needs and translate them into software requirements. Your work will contribute to the improvement of building automation systems, enabling efficient and sustainable operations for our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications for Building Management Systems

(BMS)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate customer requirements into software solutions

• Perform unit testing and debugging of software applications

• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and practices

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 3-5 years of Work experience in languages such as Java, JavaScript

• Experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Familiarity with front-end technologies like ReactJS

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
