Essential skills and knowledge
- Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
- Manages and ensures successful execution of CP Topsides structures fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
- To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the Structure fabrication, Mechanical Completion to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
- To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
- 8 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for technical education
- Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions.
- Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
- Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
- Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope
