You will be mainly accountable for:
- Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Developing and delivering training programs on health, safety, and environmental policies to employees at all levels.
- Cross-functional collaboration to integrate HSE into operational procedures and strategies.
- Monitoring and analyzing safety performance metrics, preparing reports and presentations for management review.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, updating policies and procedures as necessary.
- Acting as a key point of contact for HSE-related inquiries, fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE policies and procedures aligning with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications for the role:
- You have 1- 2 years of experience in Health and Safety
- Degree in Engineering (eg. Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental) or in Occupational Health and Safety
- Familiarity with environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health and Safety Management (ISO 45001) will be an asset
- Driving license (role may require small amount of travel across Greece)
- You are at ease communicating in Greek & English language.
- Collaborative, solution-focused approach and proficient written and spoken communication skills.
- Commitment for promoting a safety-first culture and continuous improvement
- Good organizational skills
