This position reports to
Global Project Finance Manager
Your role and responsibilities
You will be working as Project Finance Analyst and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Project Finance Manager and will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager or Project Finance Manager in the country assigned in all financial and commercial matters related to the project and actively drives their respective project's performance. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite, #LI - Hybrid This role is contributing to the ABB Services in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: • Support project managers in all financial and commercial matters and actively drive the project's performance. Ensure compliance with Accounting & Reporting Policies and applicable internal control procedures • Maintain projects in SAP, hereunder the project cost- and income budget and the WBS and ac-tivity structure. Ensure timely invoicing according to the contract and timely payment of invoices. • Establish any required financial guarantees. Establish any required foreign currency contracts (hedging) and initiate swap arrangements when required • Provide forecast information like cash flow plan, revenue recognition plan and cost-to-complete • Monthly reporting internally and externally. Monitor and control actual cost and revenues against the budget and forecast. Identify, analyze, report and follow-up any economical deviations related to recognized revenues and gross margin, actual/planned costs, cash flow and over dues. • Participate in the project's risk management process for early identification of risks and opportu-nities, and do monthly assessment of the identified risks, contingencies and opportunities • Participate in project review committee. Provide input to the Project Cost report and PR+ and other relevant tools. • Promote commercial awareness in the project team

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's in Commerce / accounting / business administration / CMA / CWA / CA
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Project Controlling / Financial Planning & Analysis
- Fluency in English
- Proactive and responsible personality with good team work and excellent communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to take on responsibility
- Efficient and high work capacity to master periodically high workload
- Experience in use of SAP and relevant Microsoft programs. Can work independently, result-oriented and structured
