The role
The role involves managing all government-related processes including visas, permits, licenses, and ensuring full compliance with local labor and immigration regulations. This position plays a critical role in supporting employees and maintaining seamless relations with key government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Wood and the North Oil Company.
- Build and maintain relationships with local government offices, community leaders, and key influencers.
- Support the application and coordination of oilfield access passes for Wood staff.
- Assist with visa and residency processing through local authorities.
- Ensure adherence to local labor and regulatory requirements.
- Represent Wood in meetings, official functions, and coordination efforts.
- Provide support for local procurement, vendor engagement, and logistics.
- Enhance our credibility with local authorities and communities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- The ideal candidate must have 5-7 years of experience in a similar supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills, and deep knowledge of Iraqi government procedures.
- Experienced in community engagement
- Fluency in Arabic, Kurdish, and English (spoken and written) is required
- Holds a valid Iraqi Driving License & Kirkuk Residency Card
- Solid computer and interpersonal skills.
