JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Duties:

• Thread material through thermal processing equipment to initiate line setup
• Adjust straightener, sizing section rolls, and side pass rolls to ensure tubing is properly straightened and sized
• Operate control panels to start, monitor, and complete thermal processing of tubing string
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on tubing samples at the start and end of each run
• Coordinate the collection and analysis of tubing samples to verify metallurgical properties and mechanical specifications
• Set and monitor equipment temperatures based on established heat history instructions
• Lead efficient product changeovers, coordinating activities with team members to minimize downtime
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Follow all safety protocols and comply with applicable safety regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 4-8 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Proficient in writing routine reports and business correspondence
• Strong basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
• Capable of resolving routine problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
