JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate CNC Vertical, Horizontal, and Boring Mills, as well as CNC lathes.
• Validate machine programs and instructions before machining.
• Perform first-article setups and prove-outs, then run production while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
• Complete work order routings and maintain documentation.
• Adhere to all NOV safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively between shifts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
• Perform additional assigned tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficiency with Fanuc and Haas controls.
• Competent in basic math and computer use.
• Strong grasp of GD&T and inspection methods.
• Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of tooling and fixturing.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gages).
• Willingness to work 2nd shift, including overtime and weekends, with shift differential pay.
