Job summary: Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, make production plans under guidance of Production Engineer and execute the plan efficiently to deliver the finished cabinets/ consoles etc as per customer requirements, following all processes, SOS, quality standards and productivity norms. Maintain safe work condition.
Core Activities:
• Production planning, scheduling under guidance of Production Engineer
• Production preparation by reviewing all required inputs like Drawings, materials, tools, space, skills etc.
• Material issuing & kitting in advance to ensure uninterrupted material flow to production floor.
• Resources planning and allocation for the team of technicians.
• Monitoring to deliver the cabinets on time.
• Coordination with support functions to ensure timely availability of materials and other inputs
• Drive high level of productivity within his/her team
• Ensure Built In Quality
• Ensure compliance to HSE and other company policies
• Implement culture of continuous improvement through HA, Lean and Six Sigma techniques.
Qualification:
• Engineering in Electrical / Electronic / Instrumentation / Mechanical discipline with a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in handling the control systems Assembly.
Knowledge & skills
• Knowledge in defects identifying and root cause analysis
• Knowledge of proper mfg .tool selections
• Knowledge of GA, Power wiring , loop templates etc )
• Good knowledge of mech. Structural assembly
• Knowledge in workmanship standards
• Knowledge in productivity techniques.
• Knowledge in In-process inspection.
• BIQ knowledge
• Skills in coaching and developing team
• Skills in Problem escalation
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT
Behavioral Skills
• Planning of materials, Handling supply chain activities, Control of quality production, Meeting delivery deadlines, managing vendors & coordinating
• job work with the in-house production. Coordinating with Stores & Logistics team.
• Responsible for smooth delivery of control systems from Assembly.
• Review the material procurement with the planning group and ensure that all material is made available for production and testing.
• Review of BOM from correctness and completeness perspective. Work closely with the project team to Execute, Plan & deliver as per commitments.
• Strong Customer Handling capabilities for projects & Customers.
• Good command on Oral + Written communication in English.
