Essential skills and knowledge
- Delivering precise 3D spatial mine data within the lease area, including field stakeout, data acquisition, validation, and maintaining the mine model.
- Operating and maintaining advanced surveying equipment such as scanners, Trimble GPS, DJI UAVs, and Trimble total stations.
- Providing geotechnical monitoring and mapping support using Trimble4D.
- Ensuring correct calibration of machine guidance systems and updating design files (CAES only).
- Assisting in misfire and hazard verification processes while maintaining accurate records.
- Offering professional surveying services to personnel across varied domains within the operation.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree: A relevant academic background to excel in survey operations.
- 2-4 Years Experience: Proven track record in mine surveying or similar roles.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency with GPS systems, UAVs, scanning tools, and total stations for survey tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in generating and validating spatial data models.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to safe practices during fieldwork and hazard management activities.
- You must have current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role.
