This position reports to
Business Manager - Operations
Your role and responsibilities
Main Task 1.Lead department to execute purchasing through tactical/operational delivery that support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products/services. Ensure execution in accordance with Company and Procurement instructions and procedures. Develop and lead improvement and standardization of PL processes. 2. CI: Process Improvement and Standardization, Develops and leads improvement and standardization of transactional Procurement processes and tools in alignment with the Global Sourcing Head Ensures alignment of managerial, strategic and tactical PL processes across the Function. 3. Process: In accordance with Group Sourcing, implements programs to drive improvement in cost, quality, delivery and working capital (payment terms, lead times, order quantities). Secures full utilization of Pro-Supply global supplier relationship management platform according to relevant procedure, both related to sharing of supplier information and to finding existing high performing suppliers to business. 4. Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops subordinates within HR policies and Group Procurement excellence guidelines (knowledge management, functional training, etc.). Responsible for coordinating Procurement talent management and succession planning within assigned area.

Qualifications for the role
- Qualification Description
- 1.Bachelor's degree technical education or Supplier Chain Management.
- 2. Majored in technology, purchasing, supplier Chain Management.
- 3. At least 5 years work experience at SCM/Procurement/Supplier quality development.
- 4. International experience and background in a western based company are highly valued.
- 5. Continuous employment for more than 3 years for one company is mandatory.
- 6. Knowledge from heavy steel structures and marine business.
- 7.Fluent oral and written communication in English is mandatory.
