This Position reports to:
Procurement Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will perform assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

This role is contributing to the Motion Business in NEMA Motors Division, Bangalore India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Initiates supply orders in the system, confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors, and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
• Conducts all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Tracks goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing as per available guidelines.
• Applying and implementing PL standards, tools, and processes in responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
• Creating and updating reports, as required, following the ABB standards.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in any field (BE/BTech - Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical) with prior supply chain experience
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in end-to-end procurement activities and SAP Module is required.
• Advanced Excel knowledge is must.
• Proficient knowledge in written and verbal communication skill.
• US Shift (Night Shit): 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM.
