Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Area Sales Manager to drive profitable growth, selection of exceptional customer solutions and implement market strategies in the specific region. The ideal candidate will have a strong business growth mindset, an ability to anticipate market trends, and a proven track record in achieving ambitious financial goals while fostering customer and channel development. The work model for the role is: hybrid ; #LI-Hybrid The role is contributing to the Motion / IEC Low-Voltage Motors division regionally. Main stakeholders are the local sales units, global customer support, regional hub structure and production units. You will be mainly accountable for: • Strategic Growth & Market Execution: Lead and execute the Division's Go-to-Market strategy, track business trends, and implement targeted strategic actions to ensure long-term profitable expansion. • Financial & Budget Management: Oversee and deliver budget expectations, maximize gross margins, and ensure optimal resource allocation to drive profitability and business success. • Customer & Channel Acquisition: Identify opportunities, support the execution of growth plans, and facilitate strong relationships with customers and key channel partners to expand market presence. • Forecasting & Pricing Strategy: Drive accurate demand forecasting, implement professional pricing strategies, and optimize revenue streams by monitoring and refining pricing structures.

Qualifications for the role

  • Minimum 5-8 years of proven Sales experience in the electric motors area.
  • Solid product familiarity, as well as good understanding of pricing and cost models.
  • Good understanding of domain processes, front-end / back-end activities and structures.
  • Ability to drive selections and identify appropriate customer solutions.
  • Great communication and networking skills.
  • Excellent coordination skills, ability to influence without authority.
  • Fluent English language skills.
